With a mix of heartfelt gratitude and happy tears, we are both sad and joyful to announce the retirement of two of our most beloved members of the OSS Team, Principal Dan Lake and Assistant Principal Shelley Hamilton.

Their dedication, leadership, and care have left a lasting impact on our school and on all of us who have had the privilege of working alongside them. While we will truly miss seeing them each day, we are so excited for them as they begin this well-deserved new chapter.

Please join us in celebrating Mr. Lake and Mrs. Hamilton and thanking them for the many years of service, heart, and commitment they have given to our community.

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that we are on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional meeting grounds, gathering place, and travelling route to the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis, Dene and Nakota Sioux. We acknowledge all the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries.
